Brief

Every year, the Howard De Walden Estate, a property estate in the affluent area of Marylebone, produces a Christmas event to bring the community together and showcase the best of the village’s shopping and dining destinations.

This year’s edition featured a delightful array of entertainment and activities, from food stalls and alfresco bars, to live music, funfair rides, arts and crafts, and Santa’s Grotto. Over 100 local businesses were invited to be involved in the event, which encouraged visitors from far and wide to spend time in the area and get into the festive spirit.

What we did

Working closely with the Howard de Walden Estate, we liaised with talented traders and coordinated artists on the day. Meanwhile, our sister agency We Are Ops, provided operational and health & safety services to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Merry Marylebone brought together local businesses to trade at the event, fostering community spirit and encouraging spending that benefits the area. Guests enjoyed markets, rides, and live performances, as well as a spectacular switch-on-show.

Merry Marylebone’s Christmas Lights Switch-On marked an amazing start to the festive calendar! We were honoured to, once again, assist the Howard de Walden Estate in managing this grand event, Featuring a breath-taking pyrotechnic show and performance by Sophie Ellis-Bextor!

Along with We Are Ops, we worked with the Howard De Walden Estate to ensure the safe installation of the event and it’s safety live management.
