Brief

For WestQuay’s Silent Disco our brief was to create a glittery, bright and inviting space that would draw guests’ attention and encourage them to have a boogie.  Shimmer curtains and plenty of disco balls were a must! We collaborated with our resident creative designer to create stunning visuals of the space to give an idea into exactly how it would look.

What we did

Back in October we were asked by Hammerson WestQuay to produce an exciting Silent Disco that invited guests of all ages to put on their dancing shoes and enjoy a unique experience over the autumn half term. We worked on every part of this exciting project, from concept to creation, to create a memorable experience for the Southampton community. Throughout production we liaised with WestQuay suppliers, and our creative team to ensure it was delivered on time and to the highest standard. We created a glittery, shimmering space complete with lights and disco balls brightening the upper terrace and encouraging visitors to ‘get up on the dance floor.’

The event ran for 7 days and our event producer on site ensured its smooth running, and that all guests were enjoying themselves. We even managed to transform the space into a spectacular spooky spectacle in time for the Halloween weekend! Not only that but we also worked with We Are Ops who led a team in safely building and installing everything from the structure, AV and lighting, to the styling inside.
