Brief

Grosvenor Estate came to us with an extravagant Jubilee street party brief for North Audley street. This is in the heart of Mayfair and just around the corner from the bustling Oxford Street in Central London, and we were more than happy to deliver after successfully producing many other London Placemaking projects

The aim was to build an oasis amongst the hustle. Demonstrating to those passing through that Mayfair is full of delights, a destination offering a full range of cuisines and beautiful bars and cafes at every price point. By celebrating North Audley Street, the hope was to introduce Londoners and tourists alike everything on offer in Mayfair, showing that Mayfair is for everyone.

What we did

We are Placemaking Produced a 200 metre street party table running down the length of the street, working with Lay London to create a beautiful English garden running through the entire center & a 3-metre-high floral arch in the middle as a focal piece. English planting, linen table cloths and bespoke kite branding throughout brought everyone together to celebrate the Jubilee in style. We also worked with the We Are Ops team who supported us with Health and Safety for the whole event from concept to delivery. On the live day we had our full team out event managing the festivities which brought in packed out crowds to this beautiful location. The Jubilee Street Party saw wide spread media attention and was a roaring success for all stakeholders involved. It was a pleasure to be a part of.
